REDSEA Gallery is pleased to present the essence of Vietnamese art in ‘Elements of Vietnam’. This group exhibition is expressed through the diverse inspirations of several talented artists. The gallery is proud to have had a long-standing and successful relationship with some of Vietnam’s most gifted painters to bring to their patrons.

Portraying everyday scenes and people, artists such as Nguyen Dieu Thuy, whose style is contemporary and elegant, and Phong Quoc Tri, whose poignant figures gaze with mysterious eyes and demure glances, the styles and techniques vary but still maintain a common thread that defines their nationality.

The monochromatic landscapes of artist Bang Sy Truc give one a feeling of serenity, while the works of Lim Khim Katy and Le Minh Duc contain layers of stunning colours bursting forth from the canvas.

This collection of works characterises the calmer side of an emerging society, leaving aside the modern culture it is quickly becoming. The uncomplicated simplicity of a peaceful way of life draws observers in with ease.

Together, these artists bring the viewer into a world laced with the lingering romanticism of a bygone era. REDSEA Gallery is delighted to bring you into this beautiful journey of cultural identity and emotions.

'Elements of Vietnam' runs from Saturday 19th March until 2nd April 2011.
